Finding a way to increase productivity in a warehouse that already has a certain pallet rack system installed can be an issue for warehouse managers and owners, especially if your pallet rack is fairly new and doesn’t need to be replaced. The answer to your problem may be the installation of a Flow-Rail system. This system is operated using regular forklifts and is non-motorized. A high-density FILO system, it can hold anywhere from three to 10 pallets depending on your warehouse’s needs. The best part? Flow-Rail systems can be installed on selective pallet rack that’s already up.
Install on Your Existing Rack
If your warehouse is already equipped with selective pallet rack and you’re looking to increase productivity, you’re in luck. Flow-Rail can easily be installed on existing selective pallet rack and the tracks take up only 3.5-inches of vertical space, so you don’t have to worry about sacrificing space for speed. Installation is simple since the tracks are easily modified to fit the rack and don’t require any special beams. There are very few components to the Flow-Rail system, making maintenance a non-issue. It’s exceptionally strong, too, so double-stacking pallets won’t damage the rails.
