Bar & Pipe
Bar & pipe cantilever rack systems tend to work best for storing exceptionally long items. You have three choices of bar and pipe rack systems: vertical, horizontal, and grid. The one you choose depends on what you need to store. For example, the grid style tends to be able to hold the most weight.
Light
When it comes to deciding what kind of cantilever rack systems you need, consider the weight of the items you need to store in your warehouse. Light duty cantilever rack systems are a good choice if you need to store up to 3,500 pounds on a single column. You can store up to 7,000 on a double column.
Medium
Medium duty cantilever rack systems can carry even more weight than the light duty models can. These racks are great for materials such as pipes, tubes, and lumber. Each arm of this rack type can carry between 700 and 1,000 pounds safely.
Heavy and Extra Heavy
For the heaviest items, you will need heavy duty cantilever rack systems. You can also use an extra heavy duty model. Heavy-duty models can carry between 5,160 and 6,960 pounds of weight for a single column, and between 10,320 and 13,290 for a double column. The extra heavy duty variant can carry a load up to 6,600 for every pair of arms attached to it, and up to 25,650 for a single column or 52,600 for the double column.
